Regency Wallcraft has developed a relationship with Blue Mountain Wallcoverings, formerly Imperial Home Decor Group, by participating in focus groups established to help develop new product perspectives and marketing programs dedicated to improving the industry from a consumer perspective.
A focus group comprised of professional installers, including Jim Turner of Regency Wallcraft, met in Sherbrooke, Quebec for a two day exchange of information, resources and expertise.
"We are aggressively seeking ways to improve and use our role as the industry leader to move the category forward," said Carolyn Resar, Sr. then Director of Marketing for IHDG. "Sharing ideas and concerns with professional installers will prove invaluable in our efforts to reach and educate the consumers."
Members of the focus group, toured IHDG's Galt and Woodward manufacturing plants to gain a better understanding of IHDG's operations.
They also reviewed the company's internet site, retail training programs and took a look at products from both a design and technological perspective.
"A first-hand look at what IHDG does will give us a unique perspective on how we can work together for the future of the industry, said Jim Turner, who participated in the focus group. "A top priority will be improving product hang-ability so the end job is beautiful, ensuring the consumer has a positive experience so that they remain a wallcovering customer."
Blue Mountain Wallcoverings, the world's largest designer, manufacturer and distributor of residential wallcovering products, plans to continue the focus groups. |
